Beim Test mit dem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronics.de\/telefon-und-navigation\/mobile\/smartphones\/core-m5-smartphone-schwarz-4065327928273?utm_source=trendblog&amp;utm_medium=produktlink-text&amp;utm_campaign=produktlinks\">Crosscall Core-M5<\/a> f\u00e4llt uns auf, dass Crosscall anders ist als andere Hersteller f\u00fcr Outdoor-\/Arbeits-\/Milit\u00e4r-Phones, kurz: Rugged Phones. Den franz\u00f6sischen Hersteller aus Aix-en-Provence gibt es allerdings schon <strong>seit 2009<\/strong>. Die Idee, Smartphones zu bauen, denen bestimmte <strong>S\u00e4uren, St\u00f6\u00dfe und auch sonstige Umwelteinfl\u00fcsse<\/strong> nichts anhaben k\u00f6nnen, kam Gr\u00fcnder Cyril Vidal nach eigenen Angaben bei einem Segelt\u00f6rn, der beinahe schiefgelaufen w\u00e4re. Eine Sturmb\u00f6e hatte sein Boot erfasst und sein damaliges Mobiltelefon mit Salzwasser schlicht au\u00dfer Gefecht gesetzt. Hilfe konnte er keine mehr rufen. (Bild: J\u00fcrgen Vielmeier)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mir fiel beim Ausprobieren des Crosscall Core-M5 noch etwas Anderes, eher Ungew\u00f6hnliches auf: Dass der Hersteller daf\u00fcr sorgen will, dass du das Smartphone lange nutzen kannst. So gibt Crosscall f\u00fcr das Core-M5 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronics.de\/crosscall\/?utm_source=trendblog&amp;utm_medium=produktlink-text&amp;utm_campaign=produktlinks\">und andere Phones der Core-Serie<\/a>) eine Haltbarkeit, Garantie und Versorgung mit Updates f\u00fcr f\u00fcnf Jahre aus. Das Geh\u00e4use l\u00e4sst sich aufschrauben; einzelne Bauteile wie die Kamera und der Akku lassen sich austauschen. Ersatzteile sollen bis zehn Jahre nach dem Marktstart verf\u00fcgbar bleiben. Einen Adapter namens X-Blocker liefert Crosscall gleich mit. Das ist das Zwischenst\u00fcck, um das Phone an zus\u00e4tzlich erh\u00e4ltliches Zubeh\u00f6r wie KFZ- oder Fahrradhalterung oder ein Qi-Ladesystem anzuschlie\u00dfen. (Bild: J\u00fcrgen Vielmeier)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nun ist es nat\u00fcrlich so, dass Hersteller selbst mit Wasser-, Staubdichtheit und langer Haltbarkeit alleine im Jahre 2024 nicht mehr punkten k\u00f6nnen. Zum Vergleich: Auch ein modernes iPhone oder Galaxy-Phone der teureren Preiskategorie \u00fcberlebt in der Regel ein kurzes Bad im See oder Sand. Hersteller Google verspricht f\u00fcr die eigenen Pixel Phones wie das <a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/mobile-web\/google-pixel-9-lineup-google-schickt-4-smartphones-ins-rennen-137147\/\">Pixel 9 (Pro)<\/a> sieben Jahre volle Android-Updates. Der niederl\u00e4ndische Hersteller Fairphone wie im <a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/mobile-web\/fairphone-5-im-test-fair-gewinnt-131914\/\">Fairphone 5<\/a> ebenfalls und dazu eine hohe Reparierbarkeit mit Nachhaltigkeitsversprechen. Hat Crosscall dem gegen\u00fcber Alleinstellungsmerkmale? Das haben wir uns f\u00fcr das Core-M5 angesehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"test\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crosscall Core-M5: Test und Besonderheiten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Einsatz ist das Crosscall Core-M5 gar nicht einmal so viel dicker als mein &#8222;Alltags-Smartphone&#8220;: das <a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/mobile-web\/iphone-15-pro-im-test-die-kleine-nuance-besser-131063\/\">iPhone 15 Pro<\/a> mit H\u00fclle. Die Bedienbarkeit ist dennoch gut. Auf der virtuellen Tastatur unter Android 12 kann ich gut tippen. Sehr sch\u00f6n: die rote Taste f\u00fcr die Kamera startet diese nicht nur (und das auch noch bei gesperrtem Phone), sondern kann auch gleichzeitig als <strong>Ausl\u00f6seknopf<\/strong> dienen. Die Aufnahmen sind am Tag in Ordnung, gro\u00dfe Spr\u00fcnge machst du bei schwachem Licht damit leider nicht. Dabei ist er nicht nur laut, sondern bietet auch einen guten Klang \u2013&nbsp;etwa f\u00fcr Popmusik \u00fcber Spotify. Dass es kein Stereo-Sound ist, f\u00e4llt dabei kaum auf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Oldschool? Mit Klinke und UKW-Radio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hinter dicken, gummierten Abdeckungen findest du oben noch einen <strong>3,5-mm-Klinkenanschluss<\/strong>, den du unter anderem f\u00fcr das unterst\u00fctzte <strong>UKW-Radio<\/strong> benutzen kannst. Unter einer \u00e4hnlichen Gummiabdeckung unten findest du den Ladestecker f\u00fcr USB-C. Und ganze vier Sicherheits- und Feature-Updates erhalten wir gleich nach der Inbetriebnahme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Drei eigene Apps<\/strong> hat Crosscall auf dem System installiert: X-Story, ein gar nicht so schlechtes Videoschnittprogramm, das dir hilft, eigene Videos f\u00fcr soziale Netzwerke vorzubereiten, X-Camp, wenn du Teil der Crosscall-Community werden m\u00f6chtest. Einiges haben wir dennoch erfolgreich ausprobiert:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hitze:<\/strong> Das Core-M5 f\u00fcr 30 Minuten bei 30 Grad in die pralle Mittagssonne gelegt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>K\u00e4lte:<\/strong> Direkt danach das Core-M5 f\u00fcr 45 Minuten ins Eisfach gelegt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Falltest<\/strong> auf Asphalt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wegwerftest<\/strong> auf Kiesboden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eingraben<\/strong> in Sand und Kies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>F\u00fcr einige Minuten <strong>Einlegen in S\u00fc\u00dfwasser<\/strong> (Rhein)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Einlegen in schwache S\u00e4ure<\/strong> (Coke Zero) f\u00fcr 3h und anschlie\u00dfendes Abwaschen mit Seifenlauge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vor allem der Coke-Zero-Test hat uns interessiert. W\u00fcrden wir mit einem iPhone schon nicht machen. Sicher reicht die Zeit nicht, damit die schwache S\u00e4ure (pH-Wert 2,8) das Geh\u00e4use wirklich angreift oder gar zersetzt. Aber die klebrige Brause dringt auch wirklich nicht durch die Abdeckungen oder h\u00e4tte die Chance, sich irgendwo sonst in Spalten oder Rillen (gibt es schlicht nicht) festzusetzen. Auch das anschlie\u00dfende Abwaschen mit Seifenwasser besteht das <strong>Ger\u00e4t unbeschadet<\/strong>. Der Lautsprecher funktioniert danach, als w\u00e4re nie etwas gewesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex
