Da ist uns kein Fehler unterlaufen. Kleine Bildsensoren in einem Standard-Smartphone <em>sind<\/em> nur etwa so gro\u00df wie der Nagel eures kleinen Fingers. Sogar Premium-Smartphones verwenden derart kleine oder noch kleinere Sensoren meist f\u00fcr ihre Zweit- und Drittkameras. Gerade die Hauptkameras in Premium-Smartphones sind von Jahr zu Jahr gr\u00f6\u00dfer geworden und messen jetzt zum Beispiel <strong>1:1,8&#8220;<\/strong>. Dabei ist die Fl\u00e4che schon mehr als doppelt so gro\u00df wie im 1\/3,2-Zoll-Sensor.<\/p>\n<h2>1 Zoll: Die magische Grenze f\u00fcr Premium-Smartphones<\/h2>\n<p>Zuletzt begann wieder ein regelrechter Wettlauf darum, wer den gr\u00f6\u00dften Sensor in einem Smartphone hat. Das <a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/mobile-web\/sharp-aquos-r6-smartphone-kamera-mit-1-zoll-sensor-95908\/\">Sharp Aquos R6<\/a> war dann das erste Smartphone, das einen <strong>1&#8220;-Sensor<\/strong> beherbergte. Der ist so gro\u00df:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_47081\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47081\" style=\"width: 37px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/1-Zoll-Format.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-47081\" src=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/1-Zoll-Format.jpg\" alt=\"1''-Sensor\" width=\"37\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-47081\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">1&#8220;-Sensor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1&#8220; oder 1 Zoll ist so etwas wie die kritische Marke, eine Art &#8222;Vollformat f\u00fcr Smartphones&#8220;, denn viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer k\u00f6nnen Sensoren in Smartphones kaum werden, wenn die Ger\u00e4te noch halbwegs kompakt bleiben sollen. Das Ma\u00df z\u00e4hlt auch f\u00fcr Kompaktkameras schon fast zur Luxusklasse. Einfache Reisekameras setzen meist nur auf Sensoren mit 1\/2,3&#8220; oder 1\/2,7&#8220;. Die Definition davon geht auf die alte <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vidicon#Gr.C3.B6.C3.9Fenangabe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vidiconr\u00f6hre<\/a> zur\u00fcck. Statt des eigentlichen Durchmessers von 1 Zoll ma\u00dfen die Techniker den real nutzbaren Innendurchmesser, der entsprechend kleiner war. Klingt nicht logisch, m\u00fcsst ihr auch nicht gut finden. Aber es ist gut zu wissen.<\/p>\n<h2>Sensoren gr\u00f6\u00dfer als 1 Zoll: 4\/3, APS-C und &#8222;Vollformat&#8220;<\/h2>\n<p>Die gute Nachricht: Bei 1 Zoll ist nicht Schluss, wie das <strong>Four-Thirds-Format<\/strong> beweist:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_47083\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47083\" style=\"width: 49px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Four-Thirds-173-130.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-47083\" src=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Four-Thirds-173-130.jpg\" alt=\"4\/3''\" width=\"49\" height=\"37\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-47083\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">4\/3&#8220;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Four Thirds (= vier Drittel) bezieht sich auf den 1-Zoll-Sensor, also 4\/3 Zoll. Klingt nicht nach viel, ergibt allerdings schon eine Fl\u00e4che, die fast doppelt so gro\u00df ist wie beim 1-Zoll-Sensor. Zum Einsatz kommt dieser Bildsensor noch in den Systemkameras von Olympus.<\/p>\n<p>Noch etwas gr\u00f6\u00dfer ist das <strong>APS-C-Format \u2013<\/strong> die digitale Adaption des Advanced Photo Systems (APS), eine der letzten gro\u00dfen Innovationen der Analogfotografie in den sp\u00e4ten 1990er Jahren:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_47085\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47085\" style=\"width: 63px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/APS-C-222-148.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-47085\" src=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/APS-C-222-148.jpg\" alt=\"APS-C\" width=\"63\" height=\"42\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/APS-C-222-148.jpg 63w, https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/APS-C-222-148-50x33.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 63px) 100vw, 63px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-47085\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">APS-C<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die meisten Hersteller von Spiegelreflexkameras und mittlerweile auch die meisten der Systemkameras setzen in ihren Einstiegs- und Mittelklasseger\u00e4ten auf APS-C. Das Kleinbildformat kommt in immer mehr teuren Spiegelreflex- oder Systemkameras zum Einsatz. Mit einer Kantenl\u00e4nge von 36 x 24 Millimetern erreichen diese Bildsensoren eine fast <strong>viermal so gro\u00dfe Fl\u00e4che wie Four-Thirds<\/strong> und mehr als <strong>sieben Mal so viel wie ein 1-Zoll-Sensor<\/strong>. Die digitalen Bildsensoren haben damit die <em>volle<\/em> Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Kleinbildformats aus der Analogfotografie erreicht. Wohl deswegen werden sie auch \u2013 etwas irref\u00fchrend \u2013 <strong><em>Voll<\/em>formatsensor<\/strong> genannt. Geht aber doch. Panasonic und Fujifilm etwa haben mittlerweile auch Systemkameras mit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fotointern.ch\/archiv\/2016\/10\/29\/fujifilm-gfx-50s-eindruecke-eines-hands-on-der-spiegellosen-mittelformat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mittelformatsensoren<\/a> im Angebot. Und dieser <strong>Mittelformatsensor<\/strong> ist noch einmal deutlich gr\u00f6\u00dfer als ein Vollformatsensor, mit 48 x 36 mm n\u00e4mlich doppelt gro\u00df:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_47088\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47088\" style=\"width: 136px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mittelformat-480-360.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-47088\" src=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mittelformat-480-360.jpg\" alt=\"Mittelformatsensor\" width=\"136\" height=\"102\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mittelformat-480-360.jpg 136w, https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mittelformat-480-360-50x38.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 136px) 100vw, 136px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-47088\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mittelformatsensor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Zumindest in den Ma\u00dfen, die Panasonic und andere Hersteller f\u00fcr den Mittelformat-Bildsensor gew\u00e4hlt haben. Denn sp\u00e4testens ab dieser Gr\u00f6\u00dfe gibt es keine einheitliche Definition mehr. Manchmal bezeichnen Fachleute auch das etwas kleinere 44,0 x 33,0-mm-Format oder auch das wesentlich gr\u00f6\u00dfere Verh\u00e4ltnis von 45,0 x 60,0 Millimetern noch als Mittelformat.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bezeichnung leitet sich wieder von der Analogfotografie ab. Und da gab es <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foto-schuhmacher.de\/artikel\/mittelformat-kameras.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mehrere gro\u00dfe Formate<\/a>, die den Titel &#8222;Mittelformat&#8220; trugen.<\/p>\n<p>Sicher ahnt ihr es schon: &#8222;Mittel&#8220; deutet darauf hin, dass es da oberhalb noch mehr geben muss, und so ist es nat\u00fcrlich auch. Unter das Gro\u00dfformat fielen zum Beispiel die seit einigen Jahren entwickelten <a href=\"http:\/\/www.largesense.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LargeScale<\/a>-Kameras eines gleichnamigen US-Startups. Das arbeitet an Bildsensoren mit dem Gro\u00dfformat 4 x 5 Zoll bis 11 x 14 Zoll. 11 x 14 w\u00e4re also \u00e4hnlich gro\u00df wie ein DIN-A4-Blatt \u2013 allein f\u00fcr den Sensor!<\/p>\n<p>Eine einheitliche Definition gibt es noch nicht. Einige Jahre werden ins Land ziehen, bis ihr so etwas kaufen k\u00f6nnt \u2013 und noch mehr, bis ihr das n\u00f6tige Kleingeld daf\u00fcr habt. Aber ich vermute einfach mal, die Industrie wird sich irgendwie auf 72,0 x 48,0 mm f\u00fcr ein <strong>Gro\u00dfformat<\/strong> einigen, was doppelt so gro\u00df w\u00e4re wie das Mittelformat. Vielleicht habt ihr euch schon selbst einen Reim darauf gemacht: Je gr\u00f6\u00dfer der Bildsensor, desto mehr Details eines Motivs kann eine Kamera &#8222;erkennen&#8220; und damit einfangen; eure Bilder werden detailreicher und rausch\u00e4rmer. Eurer Kamera steht mehr Licht zur Verf\u00fcgung, was es euch erlaubt, bei gleicher Blende und ISO-Zahl k\u00fcrzere Verschlusszeiten zu w\u00e4hlen.<\/p>\n<p>Gleichzeitig habt ihr eine geringere Sch\u00e4rfentiefe. Was w\u00fcnschenswert ist, denn auf euren Bildern erscheint dann nicht mehr alles scharf (wie bei den meisten Smartphones). Ihr k\u00f6nnt Sch\u00e4rfe f\u00fcr die Bereiche erzeugen, f\u00fcr die ihr es wollt, w\u00e4hrend der Rest in angenehme Unsch\u00e4rfe versinkt (<a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/fotografie\/mehr-als-nur-ok-fotos-mit-bokeh-49119\/\">Bokeh<\/a>). Ein Effekt, der das Verhalten des menschlichen Auges nachahmt, der deswegen besonders nat\u00fcrlich wirkt \u2013 und den gr\u00f6\u00dfere Sensoren leichter erzielen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<h2>Beim Kauf auf die Sensorgr\u00f6\u00dfe achten<\/h2>\n<p>Warum ihr mit euren Smartphones nicht so detailreich fotografieren k\u00f6nnt, erkl\u00e4rt sich dadurch: die Sensoren sind einfach zu klein daf\u00fcr. Jedes einzelne Pixel erh\u00e4lt weniger Licht als gr\u00f6\u00dfere Sensoren. Die Informationen, die jedes Pixel an den Prozessor weiterleiten kann, sind also nicht so exakt. Die Hersteller helfen mit raffinierten Methoden wie Nachtsicht oder K\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz nach, womit sie etwa den Portr\u00e4tmodus erzeugen, der aber nie ganz die Qualit\u00e4t einer guten System- oder Spiegelreflexkamera erreicht.<\/p>\n<p>Ebenfalls wichtig ist die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der einzelnen Pixel, die sich auf die Sensorfl\u00e4che quetschen, also die <a href=\"https:\/\/trendblog.euronics.de\/mobile-web\/pixelgroesse-in-kameras-warum-ist-das-wichtig-91749\/\">Pixelgr\u00f6\u00dfe<\/a>. Erstaunlicherweise liegen die Preise von Kameras mit 1 Zoll, Four Thirds und APS-C oft gar nicht so weit auseinander, w\u00e4hrend Vollformatkameras in der Regel deutlich teurer und neu praktisch nicht unter 1.000 Euro zu bekommen sind.
